Description

A refreshing watermelon sorbet that’s light, creamy, and perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Watermelon, cubed (about 1 small seedless watermelon)
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lime juice (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon into quarters and remove the seeds if there are any. Scoop out the flesh and cut it into cubes to yield about 4 cups.
  2. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender or food processor.
  3. Add the granulated sugar, lime juice (if using), and a pinch of salt to the blender. Blend until smooth, ensuring there are no chunks.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
  5. Freeze for about 120-180 minutes or until firm. For a smoother texture, stir the mixture every 30 minutes during freezing.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the freezer for up to a week. Stir every 30 minutes for smooth texture.
