Description

A delightful bowl featuring smoky, charred corn, perfectly cooked steak, and fluffy rice, customizable to your taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak (sirloin or flank)
  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 2 cups Street corn (fresh or canned)
  • 1 Lime (juiced)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. Add street corn to the same skillet and char for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Slice the steak thinly.
  5. Assemble by placing cooked rice in bowls, topping with steak, charred corn, and drizzling with lime juice.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.

Notes

Letting the steak rest after cooking will ensure a tender bite. Fresh lime juice brightens up the whole dish.
