Description
Delicious steak kabobs paired with vibrant vegetables, perfect for summer cookouts or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 Red bell pepper (cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1 Green bell pepper (cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1 Medium onion (cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 8 ounces Button mushrooms (whole)
- 1/4 cup Olive oil (for marinating)
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (for marinating)
- 1 tablespoon Garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Start by marinating the steak cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Add the steak cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- While the steak marinates, prepare your vegetables by cutting the bell peppers and onion into 1-inch pieces. Once the steak is ready, assemble the kabobs by threading the steak and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between them.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the skewers on the grill and grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving hot on a platter.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, marinate the steak longer. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
