Description

Delicious steak kabobs paired with vibrant vegetables, perfect for summer cookouts or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 1 Red bell pepper (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 Green bell pepper (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 Medium onion (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 8 ounces Button mushrooms (whole)
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil (for marinating)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (for marinating)
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Start by marinating the steak cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Add the steak cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  2. While the steak marinates, prepare your vegetables by cutting the bell peppers and onion into 1-inch pieces. Once the steak is ready, assemble the kabobs by threading the steak and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between them.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the skewers on the grill and grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired level of doneness.
  4. Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving hot on a platter.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, marinate the steak longer. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
