Ingredients
- Fresh peaches, sliced – 4 cups
- Fresh raspberries – 2 cups
- Sugar – 1 cup
- All-purpose flour – 1 cup
- Baking powder – 2 teaspoons
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk – 1 cup
- Unsalted butter, melted – 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Combine the sliced peaches, raspberries, and half of the sugar (1/2 cup) in a large bowl. Mix gently to coat the fruit in sugar and let sit.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar in another bowl. Add milk and melted butter, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and top with the sugared fruit mixture.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
