Description
A flavorful marinade that elevates your chicken dishes with a delicious blend of sweet, tangy, and smoky flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 3 cloves garlic (freshly minced)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 lb chicken (thighs or breasts)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, canola oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Whisk until all ingredients are well mixed.
- Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes, or overnight for maximum flavor absorption.
- Cook the Chicken: Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. If grilling, cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If using an oven, bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes.
- Serve and Enjoy: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, and consider marinating overnight for deeper flavor.
