A simple yet elegant grilled salmon recipe topped with a rich lemon butter sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 Wild-caught salmon fillets
- 1.5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1/2 tsp Freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp Fresh herbs (parsley or dill), finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
- 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure your salmon is fresh and thawed if previously frozen.
- Marinate the Salmon: In a shallow dish, mix olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Coat the salmon fillets evenly with this marinade and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
- Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high. While it’s heating, prepare the lemon butter sauce by mixing softened butter, herbs, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and 1/4 tsp salt in a bowl until well combined.
- Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with Sauce: Once done, transfer the salmon to a plate and drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the top. Enjoy it warm!
Notes
Use fresh salmon for maximum flavor and tenderness. Avoid overcooking to keep the salmon moist.
