Description

A simple and delicious pulled chicken recipe made in a crockpot with barbecue sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of a large crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Place in the crockpot.
  3. Mix together the barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Pour over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 150-180 minutes or low for 300-360 minutes.
  5. Shred the chicken in the crockpot with forks for more flavor absorption. Serve on buns or over salads.

Notes

Use quality sauce and don’t skimp on seasoning for the best flavor. Let it rest after shredding to absorb even more flavor.
