Description

Ingredients

  • 34 oz Fresh Blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Zest of one lemon
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1½ cups Flour
  • 1½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 6 tablespoons Butter (cold salted)
  • ¾ cup Heavy Cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine blueberries, lemon juice, lemon zest, cornstarch, ½ cup sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl, mixing gently.
  3. Pour the blueberry mixture into a buttered 2-quart baking dish.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, 5 tablespoons sugar, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  5. Gradually stir in heavy cream to form a soft dough, then spoon over the blueberry filling.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until topping is golden brown and blueberries are bubbling.
